With the weather starting to cool, inshore there were a couple Flounder, Bluefish, Rockfish, Tautog and a 16 lbs. Sheepshead. Offshore canyons report spotted Yellowfin and Longfin Tunas, Mahi on the balls and quite a few Mako and Hammerhead Sharks. This week is warming up and the wind is laying down, lets hope that some of our fleet get out and hits the dock with a nice catch.
Come down to Hammerheads before they close for the season and enjoy great food, drinks and a wonderful sunset, closing November 1st.

Well after making out of that Nor’easter things are shaping up for some nice weather and good fishing. Inshore reports some Rockfish being landed along the beach and in the Inlet. Offshore reports a few boats ventured out this week landing some nice size Yellowfins ranging 70-80lbs and a few Big Eyes, Swordfish, Mako’s and plenty of Mahi on the balls. The weekend might blow alittle, hopefully someone will get out there and we will have some pics and new reports.
Hammerheads is open daily 8-8, so come on down for a refreshing fall cocktail and a bite to eat.
And as always Tight Lines & Good Times!!!!

Go Away Joaquin……. The Nor’Easter is far worse at this point!!!!
Before all this mess, Tuesday and Wednesday turned out to be some great Offshore fishing. A few boats ventured out into the large swell only to come back to the docks with limits of 70-80lb Yellowfins, Big Eyes and limits of Gaffer Mahi. The Tuna fishing was red HOT….. Not sure what will happen after the blow but let’s keep our fingers crossed for some calmer waters and good fishing.
So far so good here at IRM…. expecting some very high tides and winds for the next couple days…. stay posted
Till next time Tight Lines & Good Times!!!!!
