Fishing Report for 9/7/25

Written on: September 7th, 2025 in Fishing Report

Happy End of Summer, everyone!!!   Although, the weather has not been as consistent as we would like to see, we have had many of our private and charter boats still making headway through the rough seas.

Offshore, we had great reports of plentiful White Marlin Releases with the private boat Boys Toys being the top dog this past week.  There were also plenty of Mahi and Tilefish hitting the docks.  It’s pretty quiet with the Tuna for the week, we will see if things pick up in the next week or 2.

Inshore, a few Keeper Flounder and tons of Sea Bass were landed.  Captain Chris Keller aboard the “Action Jackson” landed 20 Bluefish, some Sea Bass, Tautog, and Triggerfish.  Captain Aaron Hurd aboard the “Gale Force” landed a couple of Flounder as well.  There were even reports of some limits of Sheepshead in the Indian River Inlet and some keeper Tog.  Back in the bay, they are landing Flounder, Croakers, and trout.

All in all, fishing is pretty fun right now, so give us a call and get hooked up with your own charter at 302-227-3071.  Ask for Matt, he will be glad to get you all set up for a great day of fishing.

Next Saturday September 13th, is the Indian River Marina’s Annual Autumn Art Festival from 10:00am-5:00pm.  There will be plenty of parking and docking if you wish to come by water.  Please look for the orange cones next to each dockbox as this signifies an available slip for this event.  The IRM monitors channel 9 if you need assistance or don’t hesitate to call 302-227-3071.

Till next time Tight Lines & Great Times Ahead!!!!
