Indian River Marina – HOME OF THE 2019 WHITE MARLIN OPEN CHAMPION!! Massive congratulations to our very own Captain Charlie Horning on winning the White Marlin Calcutta with his 79.5 lb catch.

If you see Charlie or his angler Tommy Hinkle, be sure to give them a thumbs up!

Here are some more pictures from these past couple of weeks of fishing:

The Pro Staff from Shimano took a fishing trip on the Capt. Bob II and showed how it is done. Capt. Roger Meekins put them on the fish just southwest of A buoy and they brought back 46 keeper fish with the largest weighing in at 4lbs. There were also a ton of throw backs as well as black sea bass and bonita on this trip.
Trying to dethrone his state record holding father, John Burbage, son Jack, from Ocean View, DE, came short but still made a nice showing catching a 48.3lb cobia using bunker caught with a snag hook.
While fishing the Rock Pile and deep dropping squid the gang from the “Still Lucky” caught these blue line tile and mahi. The largest weighed in at 16.4lbs. Pictured are Ben McDonald, Dilion Bernard, Capt. Steve Danner, Jeremy and Gavin LeBeau, all from Mechanicsburg, PA and Kyle Stimeling of Mt. Gretna, PA.
Shari Jevnick, of Ocean View, DE fished on “Something Fishy” at Site 10 using minnow on a top and bottom rig and caught this tautog that weighed 6.9lbs.
Ben Jacobs, mate from the Gale Force Charters and Evan Trakas, mate from the Judy V. teamed up to use their skills to catch a cobia on their days off. They fished out a Fenwick Shoal using live eels to catch this 30lber.
