We hope everyone has been weathering the storm out well.  So far we are making out OK here at IRM.  As for fishing well that’s a different story.  The summer season is almost upon us so think warm calm weather and FISH!!!  The staff at IRM has been working hard all winter getting ready for the upcoming 4th Annual Kid’s Catch All Tournament being held June 22-24th as well as many other events this year.  Please feel free to stop by the office or check online for any information.  Let’s get these kid’s Hooked!!!!

Merry Christmas from Indian River Marina!  As a welcome Christmas gift, the striper have moved in.  Reports of keepers just south of the inlet.  Stay warm and happy holidays!!!!

We are getting reports of Tog and ducks coming in at the boat ramp.   The fisherman and hunters are both out in their boats on this beautiful day.  Stop down to Hookem & Cookem to check out the fish being cleaned.   Looks like another great day of fishing on deck for tomorrow.

As for the fishing, well, nobody wanted to go out into this cold the last two days, so there are no reports coming in.   The weather will be warming up and hopefully the kicks up the fishing.

We are hearing reports of Sea Bass and a few flounder around.  Even heard a report of a Mako shark in the marina basin, but I think that was just a fish story.  Hang in there till this freeze is over with.  Hopefully that will bring the rockfish our way.

The Charter Fleet and Head boats are running Tog and Sea Bass trips.  With the breaks in weather and decent catches of fish, give us a call and get hooked up with a day of fishing.

There have been reports of swordfish and big-eye tuna this past week.  We’ll keep you posted.
