Hold on to your hats…the wind has been howling. On the few days in between the blows, the Karen Sue captained by John Nedelka made it out east of the Indian River Inlet and landed these nice Tog.

Well, the snow has melted and we are seeing a few more boats heading out the inlet. We are not getting any reports for any catching, just lots of fishing. Lets hope this changes with all of the mild temps forecasted in the next few weeks.
In the Marina, we have continued with our dredging project, so please proceed with caution when transiting the marina. We may have occasional ramps closures along with some temporary fuel dock closures as well.
If you are in need of a slip for next season or know someone who is, please give us a call at 302-227-3071, and we will take care of you.
The marina will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2017, for Martin Luther King, Jr Day.
Til next time, good times and tight lines!

Well, all we have been hearing about is how great the Striper fishing has been up in Jersey…until today. A 62 pound striper was weighed in at Hookem & Cookem late this afternoon. The full details are not in as to whether it is a State of Delaware record or not. By the time I got to the scales, it was cleaned and bagged. I’ll post a pic once it is sent to me. Hopefully the run is headed our way.
As for other fish, we are still seeing lots of tog and black sea bass.
Lets hope Santa brings us an early x-mas present and sends the Striper our way.
Til next time, good times and tight lines!!!!

Caution! Dredging in process at Indian River Marina. During the hours of 7am-3pm, there is an dredge crew working close to the entrance to the marina. Please be aware of temporary closing.
As for the fishing, several boats went out yesterday and landed some yellowfins. Hopefully the hurricane out in the Atlantic will push the fish in closer to shore. We’ll see what happens here in the next day or two.
